Papa John’s Pizza

Papa John’s Pizza is an American restaurant company. It runs the third largest take-out and pizza delivery restaurant chain in the world, with headquarters in Jeffersontown, Kentucky, a suburb of Louisville.

The requirement 

Papa John’s wanted to raise awareness of the official opening of its 200th UK store, which was a major UK milestone for the global brand. At the time, Papa John’s boasted more than 4,000 stores across 33 countries.

The content

I was required to produce a raft of content that promoted this significant achievement on a regional and national level. My work involved producing a mix of ongoing copy that spanned PR releases, national advertising copy and social media messages, and included online and offline channels.

The results

Awareness of Papa John’s UK store opening and its wider ‘Better Ingredients. Better Pizza’ messaging was communicated on a local, regional and national scale leading up to, during and after the special milestone. The content was clear, concise and tailored according to the target audience and communication channel.
