Coast is one of the UK’s most successful occasion wear brands. It’s renowned for being the go-to place for the most beautifully-designed, high quality garments, ranging from feminine dresses and elegant wedding collections to stunning shoes and accessories.

The requirement

Coast’s marketing team had a backlog of product descriptions that needed to be written and uploaded to the website as soon as possible. Its in-house writers were at full capacity with other content production tasks, which meant some external copywriting support was required.

The solution

One of Coast’s copywriters contacted us to see if we could plough through the product descriptions for them with immediate effect. We flexed our schedule to accommodate the brief and started the work straight away, which involved getting to grips with Coast’s tone of voice and internal product description templates.

The product descriptions were given to us in batches and we sent batches of descriptions back to our contact as soon as we completed them, creating a continuous production line of copy.

We started the work immediately and produced more than 200 product descriptions, which received minimal amends, within just a matter of days.
