Ormerod Rutter is one of the largest independent chartered accountant firms in Worcestershire. Established for more than 30 years, the company provides a range of accountancy and wider business advice services to organisations of all sizes.

The requirement

Ormerod Rutter wanted to add to its blog on a regular basis and generate local and regional PR coverage. The in-house marketing team saw the value in these two activities, but didn’t have the resources to deliver them.

The solution

We were appointed to provide the marketing team with dedicated blog support. This involved liaising with the partners and other members of staff to write topical thought leadership articles from scratch, as well as working with first drafts and bullet-pointed information.

Given our Director, Sanina’s, journalism and PR background, we were also tasked with producing a steady stream of press releases, pitching them to the media and advising on newsworthy company-wide activity.
